This Privacy Policy describes how Devtrixx (“Devtrixx”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles information in the “Tally” eBay profit ledger platform — the Tally web admin and the “Tally” mobile application (together, the “Service”) and related services.

1. Overview

Devtrixx respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you register for and use Tally, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. Tally is a profit ledger for eBay sellers: it connects to your eBay account, imports your orders, tracks your inventory and costs, and calculates your profit. The full text of this Privacy Policy is contained on this page and can be accessed directly at any time, without registration or additional steps.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Tally Service, which consists of:

• Tally web admin – the web dashboard where sellers manage their account, inventory, orders, reports, billing and team members;
• Tally mobile application – the companion app for Android and iOS used to view profit, orders, inventory and reports on the go.

It also applies to any related websites, in-app communications and support channels operated by us. The Service is not directed at children.

3. Information we collect

3.1. Account information

When you register an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored in hashed form) and, where applicable, your business name, preferred language and profile details you choose to provide.

3.2. eBay account connection

Tally works by connecting to your eBay seller account through eBay’s official OAuth sign-in. When you connect eBay, we receive an authorization token that lets us access the eBay data needed to run your ledger, such as your orders, transactions and selling information. We never see or store your eBay username or password — the sign-in itself happens on eBay’s servers. You can disconnect your eBay account at any time from Tally or from your eBay account settings.

3.3. Inventory and costing information

When you build your inventory we process the data you enter, such as SKU, product name, quantity and the total cost you paid for your stock. This is used to calculate stock value, cost of goods and profit.

3.4. Order and sales information

Tally imports order and transaction data from your connected eBay account, including order identifiers, line items, quantities, fees, refunds and statuses. Some of this data may include buyer names and shipping details, which we process on your behalf so you can prepare shipments and match sales to your inventory. We do not use this data for our own purposes beyond providing the Service to you.

3.5. Device and log information

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including device model, operating system and version, app version, language, IP address, device identifiers, crash reports and usage analytics (for example, which screens are used and how features perform).

3.6. Payment information

Subscription payments are processed by third-party payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, Flutterwave, Razorpay and other supported gateways, or by bank transfer for manual approval). We receive the transaction result and limited details (for example, amount, plan, order identifier and status), but we do not receive or store your full card number or bank credentials.

3.7. Communications

If you contact us through the Service, by email or through other support channels, we collect the information you choose to provide, including your contact details, the content of your message and any attachments.

4. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account and authenticate you;
• Provide the core functionality of the Service: syncing your eBay orders, tracking inventory and costs, calculating profit and generating reports;
• Process subscription payments, enforce plan limits and prevent fraudulent transactions;
• Send transactional communications about your account, billing and plan usage (for example billing and invoice emails);
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• Ensure safety, investigate abuse, and enforce our Terms & Conditions;
• Comply with legal, tax and regulatory obligations, including eBay’s Marketplace Account Deletion requirements;
• Analyze and improve the performance, stability and features of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your personal information for third-party advertising.

5. App permissions

The Tally mobile application is deliberately lightweight and requests minimal access:

• Network access – to sync your account, orders and inventory data with the Tally backend;
• Notifications – if you enable them, to keep you informed about your account, billing and plan usage.

Tally does not access your location, camera, microphone or contacts. You can change permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may stop working if a required permission is disabled.

6. How we share information

We may share information as follows:

• Within your workspace – the data in your Tally ledger is visible to the team members you invite to your account, according to the roles you assign;
• eBay – your eBay-derived data originates from and is processed in connection with your own eBay account through eBay’s official APIs;
• Service providers – companies that process data on our behalf, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, analytics and crash reporting;
• Legal reasons – to comply with law, legal process or government requests, to protect the rights, property or safety of Devtrixx, our users or the public;
• Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice provided where required.

We require service providers to use the information only to provide services to us. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, which process information under their own privacy policies. Examples of the types of services we use include:

• eBay APIs – OAuth sign-in and importing your orders, transactions and selling data;
• Payment gateways – such as Stripe, PayPal, Flutterwave and Razorpay, handling subscription payments;
• Google Play Services / Apple services – core Android and iOS services, app distribution and notifications;
• Push notification and crash reporting services – delivering notifications and diagnosing app issues;
• Email delivery services – sending transactional and billing emails;
• Cloud hosting providers – storing and processing data on our behalf.

When you interact with these services, their terms and privacy policies also apply. We encourage you to review them.

8. Data retention and deletion

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services, comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Order, sales and billing records may be retained for the period required by applicable law even after an account is closed.

Where eBay notifies us that you have deleted your eBay account or requested deletion of your data through eBay’s Marketplace Account Deletion process, we delete the associated eBay-derived data in accordance with eBay’s requirements.

You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us at support@devtrixx.com. We will delete or anonymize your data except where we are required or permitted to keep certain information by law.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls and internal policies limiting who can access personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access to the personal information we hold about you;
• Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• Deletion of your personal information;
• Objection to or restriction of certain processing, and withdrawal of consent (for example by disconnecting your eBay account or disabling notifications);
• Data portability, where technically feasible;
• The right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights (for example under the California Consumer Privacy Act);
• The right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (for example in the EEA or the UK).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@devtrixx.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You can also disconnect your eBay account, manage notifications and adjust permissions directly in the Service and your device settings.

11. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or a higher age where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information transferred across borders.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide notice within the Service or through other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
